C'est avec une grande fierté que BAE annonce l'inauguration de son nouveau centre de formation aux métiers du numérique à Addis-Abeba, capitale de l'Éthiopie. Ce projet ambitieux, fruit d'une collaboration étroite avec des entreprises technologiques locales et internationales, marque une étape importante dans notre engagement pour l'insertion professionnelle des jeunes éthiopiens.
Situé au cœur d'Addis-Abeba, ce centre de 500m² est équipé des dernières technologies et peut accueillir jusqu'à 100 apprenants simultanément. Les formations proposées couvrent un large éventail de compétences numériques très demandées sur le marché du travail :
Ce projet n'aurait pas été possible sans l'engagement de nos partenaires. Le Ministère de l'Éducation éthiopien a fourni le bâtiment et une partie des équipements, tandis que plusieurs entreprises tech locales et internationales ont contribué à l'élaboration des programmes de formation et se sont engagées à offrir des stages et des opportunités d'emploi aux diplômés.
"Ce centre représente une opportunité extraordinaire pour les jeunes éthiopiens de développer des compétences très recherchées et d'accéder à des emplois qualifiés dans le secteur numérique en pleine expansion", déclare Mme Abeba Tekle, directrice du programme en Éthiopie.
Les premiers résultats sont déjà très encourageants. Sur les 50 étudiants de la promotion pilote, 80% ont trouvé un emploi ou un stage dans les trois mois suivant la fin de leur formation. Le centre prévoit de former 200 jeunes par an, avec un objectif de 85% d'insertion professionnelle.
Ce nouveau programme s'inscrit dans la stratégie globale de BAE visant à adapter ses formations aux besoins spécifiques de chaque pays d'intervention, tout en répondant aux évolutions du marché du travail mondial.
